Back in the Southland!
Last weekend we battled the mighty Ocoee! I'd been kayaking with all the gals before but never all together. It was super fun!
I love the southeast. In comparison to both Colorado and California life is so easy. More things are inexpensive or free, traffic consists of slow drivers, some friends are always in town, and people make an effort to say hello even if they have never met you. Best of all, outdoor activities are normally less than an hour to get to. Last weekend Olivia and I were able to mountain bike and canoe in one day. Sometimes I feel suffocated because I've grown up in this area and I feel the need to expand my horizons, but I am tempted to live here again someday. We shall see...

I was going to drive all the way from Colorado to Tennessee but decided instead to drive back to California. My parents were in town, and I thought it would be prudent to work on some wedding preparations with my mother before traveling back to the Southeast to begin my first physical therapy affiliation. We were quite busy throughout the week, but had a chance to take Ursa to the dog beach on Sabbath.
